The most commonly found form of Moroccan, particularly in Britain (and also found in France, Italy and Spain) is the 'Soap Bar' which comes in an slabs of 1.5-2cm thick slabs, is hard, and has a dark edge to it. This hash has to be heated for it to be smoked and will not really 'fluff' up when heated and crumbled. (Incidentally, Soap Bar is considered a bit of a joke by Moroccans, who don't actually produce the stuff.
